Welcome to Helensburgh & West Dunbartonshire Ramblers
We are a local group of
the Ramblers' Association. The R.A. exists to promote rambling, protect rights of way,
campaign for access to open country and defend the beauty of the
countryside in England, Scotland and Wales.

In our following
we include walks that will offer something to suit all tastes, from hiking
up Munros to a comfortable stroll, so don't be put off by lack of
experience; all walks are
graded for difficulty
in the programme. We aim to provide an easier grade (C) walk each weekend
there is an A grade walk on the programme.
If you would like to come
with us on a walk, check the
Important Notes and then
contact us because
we do not provide names or telephone numbers of leaders in our programme here. If
you need a lift to the walk start point we may be able to arrange that as well.
We are always looking for
new walks and leaders. If you have suggestions for other walks that you
would like to see (or lead) then let us know.
